As an anthropologist, I conduct research on the relationships between societies and environments in northern Thailand. I study the conflicting modes of governance of forest resources in protected areas and the process of overlapping nature knowledge systems combining modern sciences, animism and Hindu-Buddhist spirituality. Since 2007, I have been involved in the fields of digital humanities, academic publishing and international cooperation, as well as in various projects in favour of open science.
